FPPC Disclosure Reports & Filings

Pursuant to Government Code Section 81000, also known as the California Political Reform Act, candidates and committees are required to file campaign disclosure statements relating to financial activity in support or opposition of a candidate, campaign, or measure.

In accordance to Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) Regulation 18944 and 18950.1, a gift or income accepted on behalf of the agency is reported on the Form 801. Pursuant to Regulation 18705.5, public official appointments additional compensation received from serving on other public agency is reported on the Form 806.

Contribution Limits - Effective January 1, 2021, a state campaign contribution limit will by default apply to city and county candidates when the city or county has not already enacted laws addressing contribution limits on such candidates. In addition to state laws, contribution limits are also imposed in many California cities, counties and districts.

Conflict of Interest Code

Every state and local agency must adopt a conflict of interest code that identifies all officials and employees within the agency who make governmental decisions based on the positions they hold.
