2019 STREET RESURFACING PROJECT

Monday, November 12 through 

Friday, December 13, 2019 

The City of Monterey Park has contracted with Shawnan Construction to perform street resurfacing and improvements on the roadways listed below. During the construction, temporary lane closures and detours will be in place until the work is completed. Motorists should expect traffic and delays in these areas. 

Affected residents and businesses have been notified.  Thank you for your patience.

NOTE: Revised schedule due to weather, remaining roadways to be rescheduled after Thanksgiving week.

WATER MAIN INSTALLATION - NORTH ATLANTIC  

August 21, 2019 - December 13, 2019 

A water main installation project has been approved for the Marriott Courtyard project, at the intersection of Atlantic Boulevard and Hellman Avenue.  During the construction, temporary lane closures and detours will be in place until the work is completed. Motorists should expect traffic and delays in this area.  


EMERGENCY WATER LINE RECONSTRUCTION

July 18, 2019 - November 30, 2019 

The City of Monterey Park has contracted with DORECK CONSTRUCTION, to replace damaged water main and install new service connections, including street paving, in the alley East of Atlantic between El Mercado and El Portal. This portion of the alleyway will be periodically closed to pedestrians and vehicles during the construction.
