The City of Monterey Park has partnered with the California Community Foundation to establish the Monterey Park Victim & Family Support Fund to provide assistance to the victims, their families and the Monterey Park community in healing from the tragic events of January 21, 2023.

The City of Monterey Park continues to be committed to providing mental health support and healing to residents. Free and multilingual resources, including legal advice, mental health and wellness support in seven languages, and referrals to other organizations and government agencies can be found on the City’s dedicated resource webpage at http://www.montereypark.ca.gov/HealMPK
Additionally, Chinatown Service Center continues to offer multilingual drop-in counseling and services at the Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library. The schedule is available at http://www.montereypark.ca.gov/HealMPK.
The Bruggemeyer Library is located at 318 South Ramona Avenue, Monterey Park, 91754. Library hours are Tuesday and Wednesday, 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; and Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
