  1. Women's History Month Speaker Series: Larissa Lam,“Finding Cleveland”

    Meet film director Larissa Lam and see her documentary film, “Finding Cleveland,” a film that uncovers the seldom told history of the early Chinese immigrants in the Mississippi Delta during the time of segregation and the Chinese Exclusion Act. The film takes the audience on an emotional journey through the eyes of Charles Chiu and his family as they take a trip to Cleveland Mississippi to learn about the father and grandfather they never knew.

  2. Preschool Storytime

    Children attending must be between the ages of three and five. This program is designed for active toddlers and young children who are able to focus their attention for longer periods of time. The books are short and often invite action and participation. Parents / caregivers must attend and are encouraged to join in the fun.

    Baby & Toddler Storytime is for children under three years of age. Designed for parents and caregivers to attend with their children, Baby & Toddler Storytime includes short books, music, and nursery rhymes. These programs last about 20-25 minutes. Each baby must be accompanied by a caregiver.
