  4. Traffic Commission Regular Meeting

    The Traffic Commission reviews traffic issues and recommends any needed changes. Issues range from traffic safety matters to parking restrictions that may be the result of a citizen’s request or a staff recommendation. The Commission also makes recommendations to the City Council for installation of stop signs and amendments to the City Code for traffic related items that may ease traffic congestion and help facilitate transportation throughout the City.

The fantasy adventure film is based on the 1962 novel by Madeleine L’Engle and stars Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, and Mindy Kaling. The film is rated PG and runs 109 minutes. Audience: adults and teens.   13. 6th Annual Classic Film Screening Program With Foster Hirsch and Actress Millie Perkins

    July 31, 2018, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

    The sixth annual Classic Film Screening on Tuesday, July 31 at 2 pm in the Friends Room will feature a 1959 Academy Award winning film. The film stars Millie Perkins and Shelley Winters, and tells the story of a teenage Jewish girl who was forced into hiding with her family in Nazi-occupied Netherlands during World War II. Film Historian and Mark Keppel High School alumnus Foster Hirsch will introduce the film and interview actress Millie Perkins who played the role of Anne Frank in the film.
