  21. Classic Film Screening: Magnificent Obsession with Barbara Rush

    Film Historian and Mark Keppel High School Alumnus, Foster Hirsch, will introduce the 1954 film Magnificent Obsession and interview actress Barbara Rush following the screening. Ms. Rush is one of the last survivors of golden-age Hollywood and appeared in many memorable films, including The Young Lions and It Came from Outer Space. Her co-stars have included Marlon Brando, Dean Martin, Paul Newman, Frank Sinatra and Kim Novak. This program is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Library and the Historical Society of Monterey Park.
