This program is designed to provide education and training for local businesses, schools, government employers, and community groups in Monterey Park. This training will provide the general principles of fire extinguisher use and the hazards involved. It will consist of a classroom portion or presentation, followed by a "hands on" portion of instruction. The Fire Extinguisher Program will meet all OSHA requirements for employee training under 1910.157(g).
