The City of Monterey Park is bordered on the west by the Long Beach Freeway (710), on the north by the San Bernardino Freeway (Interstate 10), and on the south by the Pomona Freeway (State Highway 60).
Barnes Park is located directly behind the Civic Center (City Hall).
From the 10 Freeway
Going either east or west, exit Garfield Avenue and proceed south to Newmark Avenue
Turn right on Newmark Avenue
No public parking is available for festival patrons in the parking structure; except access by handicapped / disabled persons Street parking is available or review below for limited space parking lots
From the 60 Freeway
Exit the freeway at Garfield / Wilcox Avenue exit
Turn right at the second traffic signal if you go east on the 60, until the first traffic signal which is Garfield
Take Garfield north for about 1.5 miles
Go one block to the stop sign and proceed to City Hall
Continue straight and turn left at the driveway for the parking structure
From the 710 Freeway
Exit the freeway at Avenida Cesar Chavez
When you exit the freeway, the street is actually Ford Boulevard, turn left (going north) to Avenida Cesar Chavez
Turn right (going east) and proceed until Atlantic Boulevard
Turn left (going north) to Newmark Avenue
Turn right and proceed towards the Civic Center
Off-street parking or limited free parking is available
Parking & Shuttle Service
Free parking and shuttle service is available approximately every 15 minutes to the festival. Please do not park in the library parking lot for the Cherry Blossom Festival. This lot is reserved for library patrons.
