Monterey Pass Road Water Main Repairs
Project Manager: Ziad Mazboudi | Start Date: March 2023 | End Date: Dec 2023 |
Construction
This project consists of the water pipeline replacement on Monterey Pass Road between the intersections of Vagabond Drive and Floral Drive. The existing waterline on Monterey Pass Road is an old line that has been breaking regularly, resulting in water shutdowns impacting businesses in the area. The recurring water main leaks along this corridor have resulted in extensive infrastructure damage to the roadway and watermain pipe repairs are needed to ensure continued water service to residences and businesses in the area. The City is working on completing the work as quickly and safely as possible to minimize impact to the community.
The City is working with Ferreira Coastal Construction for the construction phase of the project. Cannon Corporation is also assisting with construction management and inspection.
Schedule
The project is scheduled to begin in March 2023 and be complete by December 2023. To reduce impact to residents and businesses around this area, the construction will take place in four segments commencing with Segment 1 and ending with Segment 4. The map below shows the length of each segment and the order in which construction will take place.
