Behaviors and Alzheimer's Disease - Are they doing that to annoy us? 

Alzheimer's Los Angeles in partnership with the City of Monterey Park will offer a virtual seminar on behaviors and Alzheimer's Disease. Many behaviors arise with dementia that are difficult to understand. Using the IDEA! strategy, this program aims to help individuals explore why behaviors happen, their meanings and practical tips to respond.

Medicare 101 - Come Learn the basics of Medicare A, B, C and D.
Kaiser Permanente in partnership with the City of Monterey Park will offer a virtual seminar on the basics of Medicare. This is an open forum and questions are welcome and encouraged.

 In collaboration with Alzheimer’s Lo Angeles. An overview of Alzheimer’s disease and its effect. Learn about what causes memory loss, the difference between normal aging and signs of dementia, and what to do when you visit the doctor.

Virtual Paint Night - $45 per kit
Participants will have an opportunity to meet their friends and neighbors while they create a simple and fun painting from the safety of their home. A professional instructor will guide the painters step by step via Zoom. Each kit will include a canvas, assorted paint colors, brushes & sponges, and a mixing palette. Staff will coordinate contactless pick up for supplies with all registered participants.
