  1. Connect with Open Data Computer Workshops

    How clean is my tap water? How much traffic is there in my neighborhood? Learn how to use open data to make a difference in your life and community. Adults will learn how to identify, analyze, manipulate and share open data in a series of four computer workshops scheduled on Wednesdays, April 4, 11, 18, and 25 from 10:30 am -11:45 am in the Computer Lab. Basic computer skills are required and a Google account is required for these sessions. To register for the free workshops contact the Reference Desk or call (626) 307-1368.

    The Library offers free homework assistance to elementary school children during the academic year. Students may bring in assignments and receive help from high school volunteers. No registration is required, but parents must remain with their children - this is not a drop off program.

    Family Storytime is for all ages. Featured stories vary in length, some encourage active listening while others invite participation. We incorporate some of our favorite songs or rhymes and a circle dance at the end of each program. Parents / caregivers must attend and are expected to participate and model good listening skills for their children.

    Baby Storytime is for children under three years of age. Designed for parents and caregivers to attend with their children, Baby Storytime includes short books, music, and nursery rhymes. These programs last about 20-25 minutes. Each baby must be accompanied by a caregiver.
