Until May 27, 2022, Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School is accepting entrants for its fifth annual Most Fundable Companies list. Participants fill out a survey to assess their fundability and how potential investors would view them during due diligence. Start-ups must be U.S. based, be privately held and have prior 12-month revenue below $10 million. The original founder or founders must be actively involved and on the executive team. Small business hub Hello Alice is accepting applicants for Round Two of its Small Business Growth Fund, which will make $5,000 grants to 50 winners. A business must have less than $1 million in annual revenue, a commitment to its customers and community and a clear plan to use the grant funds. Applications are due May 20. The DoorDash Restaurant Disaster Relief Fund is accepting applications until June 30, as part of the company’s ongoing, five-year, $200 million Main Street Strong pledge to empower local communities. A restaurant impacted by a state or federally declared natural disaster can receive grants to cover operating costs, including rent or mortgage payments, food and beverage inventory, utilities, supplies and materials, and supplier costs. Grants will cover only those restaurants with three or fewer brick-and-mortar locations, fewer than 50 employees at each location and revenue of $3 million or less per location in the last 12 months.
