MPK News Release-Los Angeles County Extends Curfew 6-3-20 9p-5a

Los Angeles County will be under a countywide curfew that runs from tonight at 9 p.m., June 3, 2020 through 5 a.m., Thursday, June 4, 2020.

The City of Monterey Park will follow the County of Los Angeles (https://lacounty.gov/emergency/) in imposing the citywide curfew tonight from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. to ensure public safety across our region. Emergency responders are exempt, as well as those traveling to and from work or seeking/providing emergency care.

This is the fourth night of a countywide curfew ordered to protect public safety. Tonight’s curfew will start later than the curfew in previous nights as the county assesses public safety needs on a daily basis. All persons, unless otherwise exempted, are asked to stay in their homes during the curfew.
