Tweens and teens are invited to participate in an eight week coding program February 1-March 21 on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to12:30 p.m. in the library computer lab. Youth ages 11-18 can sign up at the reference desk for the free classes. No experience is necessary.
Participants will learn Javascript and the basics of building websites including HTML and CSS. The classes will be led by the Mark Keppel High School “Keppel Hacks Club.” This series is sponsored by the Southern California Edison Building 21st Century Skills for Tweens and Teens grant.
