[ARCHIVED] Monterey Park Celebrates Cinco de Mayo

The Monterey Park Cinco de Mayo Committee will be conducting its 35th annual celebration of Mexican culture on Sunday, May 7, from 1-5 p.m. at the Barnes Park Amphitheater at 350 South McPherrin Avenue, Monterey Park, CA 91754.

As always, the event is free to the public. The community celebration will feature authentic Mexican food, a raffle, and performances by outstanding mariachi musicians, folklorico dancers, and special performances.

Entertainment Schedule
1:00 p.m.         Ballet Folklorico Esperanza.
2:00 p.m.         Introduction of dignitaries.
2:15 p.m.         Lupita Infante.
3:10 p.m.         Grupo La Ilusion.
3:30 p.m.         Dance contest with prizes for the winners.
4:00 p.m.         Money hat raffle.
4:15 p.m.         Mariachi Relampago.
