Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library is having a 10 Year Renovation Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, September 10, from 10 a.m. until noon. The city librarian and guest speakers will address the current state of the library since the renovation opening in September 2006 and speak on the possibilities for the next 10 years. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library and the Library Foundation, the celebration will feature photos from the beginning of the renovation through today and offer refreshments, a light snack and free gifts. Come join the staff of the library as the celebration begins on Saturday and continues throughout the weekend.
