The City of Monterey Park will hold its annual Patriot Day observance on Friday, September 11 at 8:30 a.m. at city hall.
The public is invited to attend the ceremony that will feature the pledge of allegiance, the national anthem, greetings and comments by elected officials, presentations by fire and police departments, special guest speakers, participation by local veterans of American Legion Post 397, a ringing of the bell and a moment of silence.
The ceremony will be held on the front lawn near the veterans and war memorials. Monterey Park city hall is located at 320 W. Newmark Ave., Monterey Park, CA 91754.
