[ARCHIVED] MPK Bruggemeyer Library Presents Stories in Lenses: Mao Jianjun Book Talk and Photography

The Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library will present a book talk and photography exhibit with Mao Jianjun, Chief Correspondent of China News Agency Los Angeles on Sunday, June 28 at 2 p.m. in the Friends Room.

As the Chief Correspondent of China News Agency in Los Angeles, Mr. Mao has reported and photographed local and national news to thousands of readers in the U.S. and China. He has also shared with his readers spectacular photographic landscapes of California and the U.S. His book includes over 100 color photographs presented in chronological order during a time period from 2011-2014 when he reported on news events. Mr. Mao’s presentation includes a power point in English and Mandarin along with a special exhibit of photographs from his book. Additional photographs will be on exhibit at the library from July –August 2015 in the first floor lobby.
