    Preschool Storytime This program is designed for active toddlers and young children who are able to focus their attention for longer periods of time. The books are short and often invite action and participation. Parents / caregivers must attend and are encouraged to join in the fun. Children attending must be between the ages of three and five. Preschool Storytime is held every Tuesday at 12 p.m.

  3. CS First Coding Club for Youth

    Are you between the ages of 8-14 and interested in creating video games? If so, this is your invitation to join the CS First Coding Club at the Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library this summer! Age 8-10 students will meet on Tuesdays starting June 20 at 1:30 pm for 8 weeks in the Computer Lab located on the 2nd floor of the library. No experience is necessary: design and program your own video games using Scratch code. Learn important gaming and computer science concepts while building racing games, mazes, and other fun digital projects. The CS First Coding Club is part of the Library’s Southern California Edison Building 21st Century Skills for Tweens and Teens’ grant.   6. Baby & Toddler Storytime

    Designed for parents and caregivers to attend with their children, Baby Storytime includes short books, music, and nursery rhymes. These programs last about 20-25 minutes. Each baby must be accompanied by a caregiver. Baby Storytime is for children under three years of age and is held every Thursday at 10 a.m.
