Cinco de Mayo

35th Annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration

The City of Monterey Park’s Cinco de Mayo Committee extends an invitation to the community to attend the annual Cinco de Mayo celebration at Barnes Park. This festive day features a wide variety of entertainers including folklorico dancers, mariachis and other traditional Mexican music.

  • Sunday, May 7, 2017, from 1- 5 p.m. at Barnes Park Amphitheater
  • Entertainment will include Mariachi, Folklorico dancing and more

An essential part of the Cinco De Mayo event is the support for surrounding Businesses, Community leaders, and residents. One of the highlights of the day is the raffle drawing, with prizes ranging from free car washes to piñatas, and free dinners at local restaurants. A second drawing will be made for the popular money hat.
