About the Commission
The Sister Cities Commission consists of three members for each of our sister city associations: Nachikatsuura, Japan; Morelia, Mexico; Yung-Ho, Taiwan; Quanzhou, China; and Yeongdeungpo-Gu, Korea. Their purpose includes:
  • Fostering friendship
  • Participating in the exchange of cultures through cultural events and programs
  • Serving as cultural ambassadors to sister city visitors
Members of the commission are selected by their respective associations. One of the highlights of the commission’s activities is their annual International Ball.
