Baby & Toddler Storytime
Designed for parents and caregivers to attend with their children, Baby Storytime includes short books, music, and nursery rhymes. These programs last about 20-25 minutes. Each baby must be accompanied by a caregiver. Baby Storytime is for children under three years of age and is held every Thursday at 10 a.m.
This program is designed for active toddlers and young children who are able to focus their attention for longer periods of time. The books are short and often invite action and participation. Parents / caregivers must attend and are encouraged to join in the fun. Children attending must be between the ages of three and five. Preschool Storytime is held every Tuesday at 12 p.m.
Family Storytime is for all ages. Featured stories vary in length, some encourage active listening while others invite participation. We incorporate some of our favorite songs or rhymes and a circle dance at the end of each program. Parents / caregivers must attend and are expected to participate and model good listening skills for their children. Family Storytime is held every Monday and Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. and Wednesdays at 4 p.m.
