Movie Mornings

Beat the heat with free family movies and popcorn at the Library! There is no registration required and movies will be shown in the Friends Room.

Classic Film Program with Foster Hirsch Features Alfred Hitchcock Film

Alfred Hitchcock’s 1964 psychological thriller mystery staring Tippi Hendren and Sean Connery will be screened on Sunday, July 23 at 1 pm in the Friends Room.  Film Historian, Foster Hirsch will introduce the film and following the screening will interview actress Diane Baker about her experiences working with film director Alfred Hitchcock, her role in the film as Lil Mainwaring, and other film roles  starring with Anthony Hopkins, Paul Newman, Joan Crawford and others.  Foster Hirsch is a graduate of Mark Keppel High School and Stanford University.  He is the author of 16 film history books and a film professor at Brooklyn College.
