Wednesday Computer Keyboard Practice Classes


 Become familiar with the computer keyboard and practice touch typing. Improve your typing speed and accuracy. Classes are designed to offer reinforcement and practice time for adult students in the library’s computer classes and for individuals wanting to improve their typing skills. Classes are scheduled on Wednesdays, June 7, 14, 21, and 28 from 10:30 am – 11:45 am in the Computer Lab. Space is limited and registration is required for the free classes. July Monday Night Beginning Computer Classes in English


Beginning Computer Classes in English are scheduled on Monday nights, July 10, 17, 24 and 31 from 7 pm -8:30 pm in the computer lab located on the 2nd floor. Tuesday Open Computer Lab


Join the open computer lab in July and August on Tuesdays from 7:00-8:30 pm in the Computer Lab.  The lab is open to adults who need help with E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Internet. A library staff member will be present to answer questions. There is no registration required, but seating is limited to a first-come, first-serve basis. July Internet Searching Classes


Do you want to search the web but don’t know where to start?  Attend our Internet Searching classes to learn how to navigate webpages, popular web browsers, how to use search engines to find what you need, quality websites, and good information!  Reserve your seat at the Reference Desk for classes scheduled on Wednesdays, July 5, 12, 19, and 26 in the Computer Lab from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.  Please contact the Reference Desk or call (626) 307-1368 to register.
