Computer Classes

Monday Night Beginning Computer Classes in Cantonese
Beginning Computer Classes in Cantonese are scheduled on Monday nights, October 1, 8, and 15, from 7 pm -8:30 pm in the computer lab located on the 2nd floor. Space is limited and registration is required for the free classes. Adults will practice mouse, keyboard and internet searching skills.  To register for the free classes contact the Reference Desk or call (626) 307-1368.


Tuesday Open Computer Labs 


The open computer lab runs every Tuesday in the evenings from 7:00-8:30 pm. The lab is designed to offer reinforcement and supportive practice time for adults in the library’s computer classes and is also open for individual help with E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Internet. A library staff member will be present to answer questions. There is no registration required, but seating is limited to a first-come, first-serve basis. Wednesday Morning Beginning Word Classes


Learn the basics of creating documents with Microsoft Word using tabs, toolbars and buttons.  Practice creating letters, memos, to do lists, and more.  Classes will be held on Wednesdays, October 10, 17, and 24 at 10:30 am in the Computer Lab.
