About the Community Fund
The Community Fund program is designed to accommodate the diverse service needs in the community and supporting the services of charitable or nonprofit organizations serving low income families, at-risk youth, elderly, disabled and otherwise disadvantaged persons in Monterey Park.

Funding Support
The funding for this program comes from Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and is therefore restricted to private, nonprofit organizations engaged in the delivery of services to various disadvantaged or lower income residents in the City of Monterey Park.
 
While some of the sub recipients maintain their administrative offices in cities other than Monterey Park, Community Fund and HUD guidelines ensure that all Community Fund awards will be used exclusively to serve clients residing in Monterey Park, regardless of the location of the organization’s headquarters or administrative facilities.
