Chromebooks

Chromebooks available@ the Library

Chromebooks are a quick and easy way to browse the web wherever you are, and now the Library offers these powerful devices as a portable alternative to the desktop computers already available. Whether you're researching or just want to sit in a comfy chair and browse the internet, check out a Chromebook at the Reference Desk. The library purchased ten Chromebooks through the Southern California Edison’s Building 21st Century Skills for Tweens and Teens’ grant and six Chromebooks donated by the Monterey Park Kiwanis Club.

Customers can borrow the devices from the Reference Desk
Your library account must be in good standing with less than $5 in fines
The device is for in-library use only and can be borrowed for up to two hours
Cardholders interested in borrowing a device will be asked to sign a user agreement and present a valid Library Card.
